Little Lebanon on the hill, a Mediterranean legacy in Tasmania.

Two sisters return to the rural hillside where they grew up, to regenerate olive trees planted by their father and grandfather over three decades ago. A story about keeping cultural traditions alive by nurturing deep family roots, which span continents.

We’re continually inspired by Maggie and Marion’s dedication to their careers as professional artists while investing constant energy into cultivating a sustainable homestead, not only for themselves but for generations to come.

Secluded from the tangle of city life but completely engaged with its rhythms and scenes, we witnessed remarkable resilience and creativity while observing Maggie and Marion’s life up on the hill. The olive certainly doesn’t fall far from the tree.

An 8 minute glimpse into a 15 year friendship and another chapter marked with ink on skin.

We followed our mate Benny to Capital Tattoo in Collingwood to watch another piece being added to his unique bodysuit, the sole work of Caleb aka Mayonaize who nowadays is recognised the world over for his hypnotic script.

Countless hours at countless shops across Melbourne over nearly two decades have forged a warm friendship that transcends the regular artist-client interaction. Benny is a living, breathing chronicle of Caleb’s artistic journey and this short film is dedicated to their bond. It’s also an ode to taking your time in a too busy world, carving your own groove despite the naysayers and keeping the right people close when life throws you off balance.
