Telling it how it is…
I believe photography and filmmaking have the ability to transcend language and cultural barriers. I’m driven to catalyse awareness and positive social change through my work and I intend to inspire people to care about our planet, its inhabitants and all of its interconnected intricacies.
At this point in my career, I’m focused on stories relating to climate action, preserving the natural world and sustainable living practices.
I find it easy to immerse myself in the unfamiliar and connect to people through a combination of authentic curiosity, open-mindedness and empathy, which make it possible to get closer with my lens.
Ever since I was given my first camera at 10 years old, I’ve been experimenting with stills photography and film to document my own existence as well as the lives of others and the world in which we move.
When not behind the lens, I’m absorbed in the editing process, either in my studio or the dark room. Reflecting on the experiences during which the work was created, studying the infinite beauty of light and analysing my compositions is a process that helps refine my journey as a creative storyteller.
